DANIEL K. INOUYE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (HNL)
Design-Build project to demo entire Ewa Chiller Plant including demo of existing concrete built up cooling towers and build new 4,050 Ton Central Chiller Plant to save Honolulu Airport. New plant included 3 each 1,350 Ton Centrifugal Chillers, new stainless steel Cooling Towers, new 250 HP CHW Pumps, new 100 HP Condenser Water Pumps, new Structural Foundations, and new DDC System. Existing 4,160 Volt electrical service was replaced with new 480 Volt Switchgear to save all new A/C equipment.
TRIPLER HOSPITAL
Tripler Army Medical Center is the headquarters of the Pacific Regional Medical Command of the Armed Forces administered by the United Starts Army in the State of Hawaii. Economy has completed hundreds of projects at Tripler over the years to replace, retrofit and upgrade the air conditioning, ventilation, medical gas, compressed air, steam and plumbing systems throughout the Hospital. Projects done at Central Plant, ICU, Operating Rooms, Labor & Delivery, Isolation rooms, all types of labs and offices and patient rooms.
UNIVERSITY OF HAWAI‘I AT MĀNOA
University of Hawaii, located in Mānoa, is the flagship campus of the University of Hawaii higher education system. UH Manoa is a world class university providing hundreds of undergraduate, graduate and professional degrees. Total enrollment is approximately 18,000 students. Economy has completed hundreds of renovation projects at UH Manoa over the years ranging from small repair projects to total renovation of entire building HVAC systems. Types of buildings worked on have been classroom buildings, office buildings and research lab buildings. Extensive work done on campus chilled water loops and various chiller plants.
